Description:This dynamic presentation will provide the DON with resources and tips of the trade for organizational management of the clinical department, quality of care, regulatory compliance and people management. This presentation will also detail the importance of the key relationship that exists between the DON and Administrator. Join us for a lively presentation that will walk you through strategies for successful engagement and communication.

This training is tailored for Administrators and the experienced DON and ADON, the new DON, or future DON.
Objectives:  Upon completion of this presentation, participants should be able to: 
  • Verbalize three key organizational tips for the DON 
  • Verbalize strategies on keeping up with regulatory requirements 
  • Describe the importance of staff relations 
  • Identify available resources to stay abreast of industry initiatives and changes 
  • Describe 4 important strategies for leadership alliance between the DON and Administrator
